My name is Iryna Kifa. I am a Ukrainian director and choreographer. Currently, I am working on a theatrical project based on the contemporary Ukrainian play "Borscht. Great-Grandmas' Recipes For Survival”, which will premiere in London at the end of March.

Im raising funds for a non-commercial theatrical project which helps Ukrainian artists to convey the current realities—the realities of the war in Ukraine with the aggressor country through art.
I see theater as a powerful tool, especially in the UK, where theatrical art has always had and continues to have a strong impact on audiences, engages the media, and serves as a channel for spreading information.
Its important to me, cause I'm Ukrainian and this is my voice and my tool to talk with people about situation in Ukraine and to bring support and attention to my country.
The funds will be used for set design, props, costumes, transportation and marketing. I will receive the funds on my bank account.
Every contribution you make is a small part of the strength we demonstrate in these challenging times.We want to communicate that Ukraine is a developed European country with a rich history and a fascinating culture. A country that is fighting for peace and defending all of Europe.
Borscht is not just food; it is a symbol of our home, dignity, and victory.
