More information about Romanian United Fund: In this exceptional situation, RUF, with the support of the Embassy of Romania to the United States, has set up the Ukrainian Peace Fund. We are raising funds to support health facilities with medicines and equipment, and support families of refugees with food and hygiene items.

Partners: The Embassy of Romania to the United States, The Consulate General of Romania in Chicago, FORA (the Federation of Romanian American Organizations), and Repatriot.

 

Romanian United Fund is a 501c3 International Charity Organization, registered in the state of Illinois, and a member of FORA. RUF has raised 1.4M dollars and financed over 40 projects in Romania, and in the diaspora. RUF has a 100% pass-through model, which means every dollar donated is granted to one of our partner organizations. Our partners are well-established organizations, we track their expenditures and our finances are audited by an independent organization.
