Hello, my name is Olga Yulikova. As a former refugee, I know how hard it is to be one. I care. I have started a non-profit organization called “Olga’s List." It’s for refugees from Ukraine settling in Massachusetts.
Last summer, I went to Europe to help disabled Ukrainian refugees. Before then, as soon as the war began, I organized the collection of basic household and medicinal necessities here in Massachusetts. I also managed the logistics of getting those supplies into the war zones of Ukraine.
As Ukrainian refugees arrive in Massachusetts, they face multiple barriers. All refugees receive essential state support, but there are significant gaps, such as beds, furniture, linens, kitchen supplies, kids' items, band-aids and Tylenol.
Olga's List focuses on finding and coordinating basic life necessities for new arrivals. I rely exclusively on community support and donations. I have zero overhead. Olga's List is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (EIN 92-2343692). All contributions to Olga's List are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
In my day job, I am the Manager of the Senior Community Employment Program at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs. I have 20+ years of experience assisting low-income seniors.
Your donation will go towards the purchase and delivery of essential household items and other support for newly arrived refugees.
