Aid Ukrainian refugees in Krakow

Donation protected
I am back from my trip to Krakow in southern Poland to volunteer with Ukrainian refugee efforts. My time there showed me just how great the needs remains. Want to help?

I spent two weeks in Krakow almost a year ago.  I volunteered with the Multicultural Center in Krakow (Centrum Wielokulturowe), which runs Szafa Dobra (“Good Wardrobe”-see video above) a clothing distribution center, as well as a “zero zloty” center in Krakow where refugees can get food, toiletries and medicine for free. To date, the Centrum Wielokulturowe has helped tens of thousands of Ukrainian refugees, mainly women and children.

While there I met a Krakow City Councillor, Lukasz Wantuch, who, along with an amazing team of friends and colleagues, has made countless humanitarian convoys to cities all over Ukraine, including Kyiv, Kherson, Odessa, Kharkiv and Poltava. They personally distribute fuel and supplies to hospitals and people in need, often risking their own safety, and they need our help too! The most recent funds we sent them bought 1 ton of flour going to Kharkiv.

I am tracking all money spent.  All money donated will go to supplies for Ukrainian refugee relief in Krakow or to Lukasz’s organization UkraineNeeds.org and their humanitarian convoys.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have been able to make this trip. My family left Ukraine just two generations ago - so this crisis hits close to home. Your help means the world to me.
