Urgent Call to Support Basic Needs of Ugandan Orphanage

‼️Their situation is currently dire and they are in need of donations to survive.

I am organizing a GoFundMe for an orphanage in a village deep in Uganda, Africa, on behalf of its organizer, Henry Luyombo. More specifically, the Wamala Lake View Region, Mityana District, Kalangalo Sub County, Kiyoganyi Parish, and village. Orphanages in Uganda are mainly supported by donations.

Henry is from Uganda and is dedicated to serving his community. Henry founded Henry Community Based Organization in 2019, and it is a certified organization in their local government.

CARE, COMPASSION, and LOVE are core values of this organization. Henry has a burning desire to help and support vulnerable/disabled children, the elderly, single mothers, and widowers. Core values for Henry are also to provide education, spiritual, and emotional support for the vulnerable population in his community.

Henry currently houses 42 children in a rental property. The rental property is not safe for the children, but it is all that can be afforded currently.

He strives to feed the children 3 times a day, but sometimes it is not possible due to lack of funding. Henry would also love to be able to support his community more but currently does not have the funds to do so.

An end goal for Henry and the children would be to move to a safe home and be able to have land to grow their own food.

But first, the basic needs of Henry and his children need to be met. Donations for FOOD, WATER, and medical help are desperately needed. Any donation will be helpful to put food in front of the children so they can go to sleep with a full stomach.

Sending donations to Uganda can be difficult, and GoFundMe is not supported in Uganda, so I am organizing it in the USA so I can send all donations to Henry. 100% of donations reach him. Henry shares pictures to me of the food he buys with donations and updates will be shared.
