I am a second-year undergraduate at UGA. I aspire to be a wildlife veterinarian. That is why I am majoring in biomedical physiology on the path of pre-vet. This trip with VAW Global will allow me to have this opportunity to intern outside of the USA. It is a two-week program where I spend 1 day at their elephant rehabilitation center, 6 days working with their local veterinarians being as hands-on as possible, 1 day focused on cross-culture; interacting with children, and 4 days focusing on cultural exchange where we go out and explore the country and communities. This trip will help broaden my horizons and help greatly on my graduate school applications when the time comes! Anything helps! Thank you and God bless!
