We are heartbroken to share the tragic loss of our dear friend, Ufuk Yasan, who passed away at just 49 years old while repairing a forklift at his shop. Ufuk was a hardworking, dedicated diesel mechanic who recently fulfilled his dream of starting his own business so he could better provide for his family. He worked tirelessly — often 50 to 60 hours a week — fixing trucks, trailers, and cars for countless drivers and businesses who depended on him to keep transportation moving. No matter how exhausted he was, Ufuk was always the first person willing to help someone in need. He was known for his generosity, kindness, and incredible work ethic. Ufuk immigrated from Turkey to build a better life for his family. He leaves behind his devastated wife and his two-year-old son, who will now grow up without his loving father. The family is facing unimaginable grief, along with the overwhelming financial burden of funeral expenses and fulfilling Ufuk’s final wish of being laid to rest in his home country of Turkey.
