Nacho is only **1 year old**, but he has already been through more than any dog should\.

This sweet French Bulldog was born blind and with a **cleft palate**, the result of irresponsible and excessive breeding\. Because of his special needs, he was abandoned and brought to our rescue\.

Despite everything he has been through, Nacho is an incredibly loving little dog\. He doesn’t know that he looks different\. He just wants to be loved, cuddled and close to people\.

Now we have the opportunity to make his life better\.

Nacho needs **two important surgeries**\. His cleft palate will be repaired, which will make eating and living more comfortably much easier for him\. His eye has become severely infected and painful, and our veterinarian has determined that it must be removed\. Removing the eye will finally give Nacho relief from the pain\.

The estimated cost of these surgeries is **$1,000**, and our rescue needs help covering this unexpected medical expense\.

Nacho may be blind, but that doesn’t mean he can’t have a beautiful, fulfilling life\. He has so much love to give, and we want to give him the chance he deserves\.
