We are UCSC Kahaani, the premier Bollywood fusion dance team of 25 students from Santa Cruz, California. Our name, “Kahaani,” means “story,” and that’s exactly what we strive to do: tell powerful, vibrant stories through dance. Combining the rich traditions of Bollywood with modern fusion styles, we bring passion, creativity, and our love for dance to every performance.

As a competitive team, we dedicate countless hours to perfecting our craft. This means choreographing routines, training, and collaborating as a team. We represent UC Santa Cruz on national stages, showcasing the diversity and talent of our community. In the past we've ranked 1st-3rd at numerous competitions across the country, showing the talent our team carries with it.
