Our names are Ash Villa Chavez and Arwa Fatehi. We are 4th-year Film and Media Studies students at UCSB, putting together an independent short film for our last quarter before we officially graduate. Our goal budget for this project is $1,500.
We understand this is no easy feat, but this would go towards equipment, locations, feeding our cast and crew, and more. Your contribution would go beyond helping student filmmakers learn and practice their art; it would also allow them to share stories that often go untold otherwise.
If you're curious about what our film is about:
Logline: 17-year-old Inez agrees to the responsibility of driving her reckless older sister and friends to downtown Santa Barbara. But when the situation goes south, Inez and her sister, Priscilla, are sent on a wild goose chase, forcing the sisters to confront their complicated relationship.
