Help UCSB Robotics Compete on the World Stage!
Hi there! We’re the UCSB Robotics Club — a project-focused team passionate about designing, building, and competing in VEX Robotics. VEX is an exciting, year-long intercollegiate competition where teams design two robots to work together to complete a game challenge. This season's game, High Stakes, involves scoring rings on stakes and climbing a ladder during the final moments of the match.
Each match features a 30-second autonomous (fully programmed) segment, followed by a 90-second driver-controlled portion. It’s a true test of engineering, programming, and teamwork.
This year, we’re proud to say that we’ve qualified for the VEX U World Championship — competing against 100 of the top collegiate teams from around the globe. We’re one of just 24 U.S. teams who qualified directly, and we’re beyond excited for the opportunity to represent UCSB on an international level!
Our club is made up of students from all engineering backgrounds and skill levels. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned builder, there’s always a place on the team, and mentorship is a core part of what we do. We’re passionate about building robots — and building community.
We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so donations are tax-deductible. If you’d like a receipt for tax purposes, feel free to email us!
Every donation, big or small, goes directly toward travel, lodging, and materials for our team to compete in Dallas. Your support means the world to us — thank you for helping us chase our robotics dreams!
