Help Us Launch Our Careers – UCLA Theater Showcase Fundraiser
As we approach graduation from UCLA’s Theater Program, our class is coming together for one final project: our senior acting showcase.
This showcase is more than just a performance. It’s a filmed series of scenes and monologues that we’ll shoot, edit, and present to top industry professionals—agents, managers, casting directors, and fellow creatives—who are actively seeking new talent. Each of us will also use the footage in our individual job searches as we begin our professional careers in the arts.
To make this project possible, we’re aiming to raise $10,000 to cover essential production costs. This includes hiring our cinematographer and crew, renting camera and lighting equipment, and securing an editor to bring everything together. Because the UCLA Theater Department does not fund our senior showcase, we’re responsible for covering the full cost on our own.
Over the past several months, we’ve worked hard to organize every detail—from choosing material and coordinating logistics to hosting fundraisers and building a team. In the spring, we’ll wrap up the project with a screening event for friends, family, and UCLA alumni—a celebration of all we’ve accomplished together.
If you’re able to contribute, we’d be incredibly grateful. Every donation, big or small, helps us take one step closer to launching our professional careers.
Thank you so much for your support—it truly means the world to us.
With gratitude,
The UCLA Theater Class of 2026
