Ed, known by many in our community as Uber Ed, has always been a source of kindness and support. He spends his days driving people where they need to go, offering guidance, and helping others find new ways to live and overcome their past. Ed’s generosity and compassion have touched countless lives, including my own—he helped me change my life for the better, and I know I’m not alone.

Recently, Ed faced an unimaginable tragedy. His beloved son, who was away at college in Lubbock, passed away suddenly. Ed, who lives on a fixed income, had already spent all his savings to pay for his son’s tuition and rent, hoping to give him the best start possible. Now, he is faced with the heartbreaking task of bringing his son home to Houston and arranging a funeral, all while struggling with the emotional and financial burden.

Ed has always been there for others, leading with kindness and never asking for anything in return. Today, he needs our help.
