This is Tyson – husband, Veteran and entrepreneur who has been a kind, caring and giving boss to his employees at the distillery he founded, Skaalvenn.

Together, Tyson and his wife, Mary, have crafted a local, small business built on doing right by others. They believe in equality, and they believe in empathy. They make sure their employees are taken care of with full health benefits–a rarity in the service and spirits industry. But now it’s Tyson’s health that has taken a turn. Due to a case of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, Tyson received a rare and amazing double lung transplant! While he was blessed to have a successful surgery, the road ahead is uphill and substantial.
