**Help Tyson Get Life-Changing Surgery for Eagle Syndrome**

Hi friends, family, and kind strangers,

We’re Whitney and Tyson, and after 17 years of marriage, we thought we had weathered most storms life could throw at us. Over the years, we’ve fought hard through unexpected medical struggles, including finally getting answers for Whitney’s brain tumor after years of uncertainty. Life had finally started to feel like it was settling down—and then came the most beautiful surprise of all: our baby boy.We were overjoyed!

But not long after, Tyson started experiencing severe head pain and swelling that quickly became unbearable. He found himself in the ER again and again with no answers. After six long months of doctor visits, scans, and dead ends, we finally saw the same incredible doctor who had helped diagnose Whitney’s brain tumor. And this time, the answer came: **Eagle Syndrome**.

Eagle Syndrome is a rare condition where the styloid bones in the neck are elongated and compress nearby nerves and arteries. In Tyson’s case, both styloid bones are nearly 4 cm long and are **blocking blood from draining properly from his brain**. The pain, swelling, pressure—it’s daily and overwhelming. Some days, he can barely hold our baby without unbearable pain. It's heartbreaking to watch him suffer like this.

Unfortunately, surgery is the only way to relieve the compression, but it’s not easy to find someone experienced enough to perform it. After being rejected by several surgeons, we finally found a specialist in California willing to help. But insurance only covers a portion. Each side of the surgery is $27,000 out-of-pocket**, and while we have one side scheduled for September 3rd, we barely find a way to get the first one done and simply can’t afford the second yet.

We’re doing everything we can to stay hopeful and keep moving forward. We’re not ones to ask for help lightly, but if you’re able to donate, share, or send a prayer—any support means more than you know. Tyson deserves relief. Our baby deserves a dad who can hold him without pain. And we’d be deeply grateful for anything you’re able to do to help us get there.

Thank you for reading our story, for caring, and for standing with us.

With love,
Whitney, Tyson, and Baby Brooks
