Support Ty's Sister and Kids Displaced by Flood

Hello All! My name is Ty! On Monday, March 31st, my sister and her two kids came home to their apartment completely flooded due to a broken water heater from the tenant on the top floor. The flood has caused their home to become uninhabitable and has destroyed most of their belongings. The apartment complex said that the renovations to the unit may take a couple of weeks, and they are not allowing my sister to enter the unit, stating, “We will take it off the rent.” She and the kids have been displaced with very little, only important documents. They are not paying for her to be housed in a hotel, which, as you know, adds up quickly. She is in contact with the board of health, but all of this takes time before anything can be done. No one is ever prepared for such a thing, and being displaced with two small children, one of whom is autistic, is an everyday struggle. I’m asking family and friends to help my sister out in this time of need. No donation is too small or too big. Even a share! These next few weeks will be challenging nonetheless, and I’m hoping we can all come together and reignite a spark of hope within her.
