Hi everyone, I’m sharing this fundraiser on behalf of my friend Ty, who is recovering after leaving a long-term abusive relationship.

Over the years, Ty endured emotional manipulation, financial exploitation, and multiple instances of physical harm — four times in total. In the most recent incident, her abuser stole her phone and tried to steal the truck they shared — a vehicle Ty has been ultimately responsible for. That incident left her physically injured, and she now has a hand surgeon appointment this week with the possibility of surgery.

Throughout the relationship, Ty spent over $15,000 covering her abuser’s personal and accrued expenses — including bills, transportation, and daily costs. Just last year alone, she paid over $1,000 in parking tickets that he caused. And now she’s facing the same situation again, while still healing from the trauma and injury he left behind.

When she asked him to repay just $677, he refused. That moment made everything clear.

She’s raising $1,200 to register the truck — a critical step toward maintaining work, getting medical care, and staying safe. Every donation or share helps her rebuild and reclaim her life.
