Our family is asking for support for our beloved Tyrell, who is currently in critical condition following a tragic accident in Charlotte.

Tyrell was involved in a car accident on I-85. While outside of his vehicle, he was struck by another car. The driver fled the scene on foot. We are grateful to share that the individual responsible was arrested today, bringing some measure of accountability during an otherwise devastating time.

His injuries are significant and life altering. Since Sunday, Tyrell has undergone multiple surgeries and will require several more in the days and weeks ahead. He remains sedated as his medical team works tirelessly to stabilize and treat him.

Tyrell has always had a gentle spirit and loves listening to music. It is one of the simple things that brings him peace. In the midst of this trauma, we are holding onto the strength and resilience that define him.

There have been small but powerful signs of hope. When doctors checked for responses, Tyrell squeezed his mother’s hand when he heard her voice. That moment reminded us that he is still fighting.

His family is providing round the clock support at the hospital. As we focus on prayer, healing and being present for him, we are also facing significant medical and recovery expenses.

Funds raised will go directly toward:

• Emergency and ongoing hospital care

• Additional surgeries and procedures

• Long term rehabilitation and therapy

• Travel and support expenses for his immediate family

• Future recovery needs as we navigate the unknown
