On April 17, 2025, my cousin Tyreka and her family were on the way to her fiancé's mother's funeral. While being transported by the funeral home limousine, they were involved in a train accident. They were transported to the hospital for care. Tyreka suffered broken ribs, a pelvic bone, hand and other injuries. Her fiancé suffered a broken hand, and the 9-month-old baby suffered a concussion.

Due to her injuries, Tyreka will have a long road to recovery followed by surgery and physical therapy, which leaves her unable to work and care for her family. We're asking for donations to help them through this difficult time.
