My name is Tyona. On Sept 19 I took a “ leave of absence” from my job. (Mental Health Break).

I returned to work on Nov 20 and on that very day, I mistakenly committed a safety violation which ended my career. Of all the years working with this company, I’ve never been issued a corrective action and was well on my way to managerial responsibilities.

after pleading my case and filing appeals, my words fell on deaf ears. Even my unemployment benefits have been denied.

I’ve been relying on my savings and what I had remaining to pay bills. Lights, gas car, insurance, rent, food… I’m almost tapped out!

I’ve paid bills through January but that’s all I can do.

I’m actively seeking employment and have countless resumes sent.

Please, I know I will bounce back, I know this. I’m just asking for a little help till I get there.

This is sooo hard for me to ask because I’m such a proud and private person. But I also know that pride comes before the fall and I’m trying not to fall on my face at this dark time.
