Update 6/3/25
As most of you know, Tyna went for a consultation on May 28 in Florida at an integrative medical facility called Life Works—very similar to the facility in Mexico. After carefully reviewing her documents, the doctor at Life Works wanted a CT scan done before they cleared her to fly home because her condition was deteriorating so rapidly. On Thursday morning, the CT scan results came back. It showed the tumor was still growing and is now pressing on her aorta. She was admitted into the hospital, where she was told she needed to have a stent put in because the tumor was causing too much pressure on it and was not functioning properly. On Friday, an echocardiogram was done, that’s when they also found fluid had started to accumulate around the heart. That would require a 2nd surgery to get a drain put in. Unfortunately, these 2 procedures were not able to be done at the same time, so she was kept on a ventilator until the second surgery could be done Saturday morning. I am happy to say, both surgeries were a success, but she is still not out of the woods yet. What was supposed to be a 2-day trip for a consultation that would consist of 3 months of treatment, now turned into a life-saving trip that would require her to relocate immediately and continue treatment in Florida over the next 4 to 5 months. This tumor has proved how aggressive it is, and it will continue to crush anything in its way if not treated immediately and aggressively. Even if you cannot donate, we are asking for prayers of healing for her we knew this journey was not going to be easy the second time around, but we were not prepared for what has come so far❤️‍

My sister Tyna was diagnosed with stage 1 Hodgkin's Lymphoma in July of 2023. She did chemo for a few months, and her cancer became resistant to the chemo. In November of 2023, her oncologist switched her chemo to a more aggressive treatment plan and recommended a stem cell transplant. Tyna was having a hard time with the more aggressive chemo and, after much debate, decided not to do the transplant. In January of 2024, she was in “temporary remission” and decided to take her health into her own hands. She switched to natural healing; she wanted to heal her body after chemo destroyed it. To this day, she still has side effects from the chemo. She has been following holistic healing for a year and a half. It includes very strict nutrition, juicing, a ton of supplements, and natural therapies (sauna, red light therapy, vibration plate, rebounding, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, high-dose vitamin C, and newly added artemisinin IV). In addition to this very strict lifestyle, all of her holistic treatments are out of pocket; insurance does not cover any of it.

She recently had a scan, and it was discovered that her cancer is very stubborn and her tumor is growing. She is not interested in traditional medicine as it didn’t work the first time and would like to visit Hope4Cancer in Mexico. They have a very intense healing program where she will be there for 22 nights. She will receive over 200 treatments during her stay, and she will receive treatments every day for 6-8 hours a day (except Sunday). Since they are a holistic healing center, they do not accept insurance, and the price is very costly. We are asking for consideration in helping Tyna get to Mexico where we believe she will be healed. If they could pay for it on their own, they would, just like they have been doing this past year, but it’s simply too much money.
