Hi my name is Dawn and I am fundraising for my son Tyler. My son was tent camping in Harrison County, Ohio. On Tuesday, May 14 he was sleeping in his tent with two of his dogs. During the night a tree fell and hit him on the head. Luckily he had a tarp over the tent which slowed the fall of the tree or he may not have survived. He woke in the morning with blood all over his pillow, his right eye was swollen shut, he was sick and in intense pain. He was able to txt his cousin a video of his face but then passed out again. She went to his campsite and emergency was called. He was taken to the nearest hospital and then was air lifted to J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He had an open skull fracture and two brain bleeds. They took him immediately into surgery. The Dr had to repair his skull with many pins and plates and they were able to stop the brain bleeds. He was released from the hospital and currently he is in constant pain and was told it could take up to 6 months for recovery and even then he may not be able to go back to all activities that he is used to doing. We are requesting any amount that you would like to give to assist with his monthly bills and medical bills until he is able to work again.
