On June 11, 2026, my 6-year-old nephew Tyler was involved in a devastating car accident in Lubbock County while on the way to an appointment. The accident tragically took the lives of his mother (my sister) and her boyfriend, who were both pronounced dead at the scene. Tyler was rushed to UMC in Lubbock with serious injuries, including swelling on the brain and other trauma. He is currently facing a long road to recovery and will need to remain in the hospital for some time.
Tyler is a bright, resilient child who now faces unimaginable challenges without his mother. As his family, we are doing everything we can to support him through this difficult journey. The funds raised will go directly toward Tyler's medical bills, therapy, surgeries, and any adaptive equipment he may need as he heals. We want to ensure he has every opportunity for the best possible recovery and future.
Any support, whether through donations or simply sharing Tyler's story, means the world to us. Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and for helping Tyler during this incredibly difficult time. Your generosity will make a lasting difference in his life. We will continue to update everyone on Tyler’s medical condition as we go along this journey.
