This past Sunday, Jan 11, 2026, my amazing nephew Tyler was getting gas when he was the victim of a drive-by shooting. He was in his car and shot in the neck through the window. He is currently in ICU at UofL Hospital. The bullet damaged his C3 vertebrae and though he can move his hands, at the moment his leg movement is minimal. This is going to be a long road. Tyler is a strong and determined young man. Both his parents live and work in Michigan, so they are displaced as they stay with Tyler through this. Any money given will go to his care both now and in the future (any PT etc. he'll need) and help Jason and Lisa to be with him.

Tyler was just weeks away from leaving Louisville to start his broadcasting career in Iowa! I would love to take the worry of money away from the family so they can all concentrate on his recovery. Thanks.
