I am starting a GoFundMe for Tyler Rogers and his family as they navigate this incredibly difficult and uncertain time.

At just 27 years old, Tyler suffered a major heart attack and is currently being treated in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He is the sole provider for his wife, Melanie, and their three young children: Coy (5), Colt (3), and Caroline (1).

On Thursday, August 7th, Tyler went to the Mena ER with what he believed were symptoms of heat exhaustion from the day before. However, he was soon airlifted to Hot Springs after doctors discovered he was experiencing a major heart attack.

Tyler received two stents in his “widow maker” artery, along with several balloons to assist blood flow. Doctors are still searching for the cause of the blood clot that triggered the heart attack, so it's unclear when he will be able to return home.

For now, Tyler is expected to be out of work for at least the next six months. He will be required to wear a LifeVest, a wearable defibrillator, until doctors determine whether his heart can function on its own or if he will need a pacemaker.
