Six years ago, I was diagnosed with epilepsy, and ever since then, it's been an uphill battle to regain control of my life. For over five years, I was unable to work, facing daily challenges and uncertainty. After months of determination and medical care, I was finally approaching a year without seizures and was able to start a new job. It felt like a turning point, a chance to rebuild and provide for my children.

Unfortunately, about two months into my new job, I suffered a grand mal seizure at work, breaking my cheek just two weeks before reaching my one-year seizure-free milestone. I would have been 1 year seizure free on March 8th. This setback has been devastating—physically, mentally, and financially. The recovery process has forced me to take time off work, and the bills and living expenses are piling up, making it difficult to support myself and my children during this challenging time.
