Tyler has been bravely battling dilated cardiomyopathy since he was 6 years old and is on a challenging journey toward a heart transplant. Now 13 years old, he will undergo treatment with an LVAD to improve his condition until he’s found eligible. He is currently at Shawn Jenkins Childrens Hospital at MUSC in Charleston, SC.
