Please donate to help Tyler Schaffer and his family out. Tyler is 17 and on March 9, 2026 he was diagnosed with a rare form of osteosarcoma, he had a large tumor in his knee and femur bone on his left leg. He was put through every test you can imagine and on April 8,2026 he went into surgery to
remove the tumor. Tyler's surgery was a success although there was a set back because when the large tumor was removed it was sitting on his artery and it eroded a hole in his artery which they then had to call in vascular to repair his artery. After a seven hour surgery Tyler now has a metal rod where his femur bone was and a metal knee and another metal rod connected to his tibia bone. Tyler then started physical therapy and has been doing really well trying to walk with his new hardware. After a month of thinking everything was over and he was on the road to recovery the family received a phone call from oncology who had been analyzing his tumor and said the tumor is high grade and that they are afraid that it could have gotten into his bloodstream and it may come back somewhere else more aggressively. Tyler now will have to undergo 7 months of chemotherapy to ensure that the cancer is gone. Please keep this family in your prayers and if there is any way you can donate to help with medical expenses or gas or food that would be greatly appreciated.
