Hi everyone, as some of you may already know, my husband, Tyler, has been diagnosed with lymphoma. This started back in September, as there was an abnormal growth. He had a removal surgery back in October, and the specimen was sent off to be biopsied. We didn’t quite know what was going on then, and was told it could have just been physical trauma. The results came back, and we found out about two weeks ago that it was indeed a type of cancer. This was totally world changing for us and we have had some very hard days accepting this outcome. It was not what we were expecting in the least. Tyler will be starting chemotherapy in the first few weeks of January, after the holidays. The oncologist wants to go ahead and do some pretty heavy treatment lasting around 4-6 months. With this diagnosis, odds given to us are good, but it is still very scary and we will have some rough times ahead of us. Tyler will be missing a lot of work throughout treatment, and we’re hoping our loving community will be willing to donate (if you can) or share this fundraiser for us. All proceeds will go towards medical costs and to help with bills during treatment duration. We are not the type of people to ask for help usually, but this is something we never expected to run into. We have already received an outpouring of love from close friends and family that we greatly appreciate.
