We wanted to do this for Tyler and our brother Eli. As you all know on Monday Oct 27, Tyler suffered a choking incident at home while they were both having lunch. In the mist of clearing his airway something ruptured internally causing instant severe pain, EMS where called and Tyler was rushed to hospital where they later found he had rupture his esophagus, a rare event according to the providers, within hours he was rushed the main hospital in Tampa and placed in ICU.. Further test were done and due to his critical state and injury he was airlifted to Advent Health Celebration in Orlando, within an hour of arrival he underwent emergency surgery lasting 3.5 hours. Since then he’s been in ICU, he’s had some ups/downs and some set backs but continues toward recovery. The Doctors have indicated he can be expected to be in the ICU for another 2/3 weeks and in the hospital upwards to 6/8 weeks. We continue to pray for Tyler for healing and protection. There lives where changed in an instant, this has been a difficult time for their little family, both emotionally and financially. They’re trying their best, but they can't do it alone. We’re putting this fundraiser together for them to get them some help with deferring cost associated with being displaced from their home and both not being able to work. It’s been a difficult time for them and this ask will help easy those unknown fears so Tyler can focus on healing and for Eli to be able to provide supportive care and comfort during this time.
