I am finally making the decision to have a hair transplant in order to regain my confidence. Six years ago I began my transition from female to male in order to finally feel happy and confident living my true self. It was the best decision of my life and I am so thankful to be who I am today. However, some of the best things in life come with hardships and losing my hair has been one of them. I am 28 years old and I started balding 4 years ago. I have spent hundreds of dollars on dozens of treatments to try and regrow the hair I have lost and nothing has worked. I have not been anywhere without wearing a hat for years, including wearing hats at the beach and in swimming pools. Losing my hair has caused me to lose almost all self confidence, and I feel destroyed when I look at myself in the mirror and I am ready for a change. I am choosing to get my life back and regain the confidence I started to feel when I began my transition. The hair transplant is expensive, but confidence and love in yourself is priceless. The goal of $5,000 will help me reach the cost of the down payment for the transplant. Even if you can't donate, I am asking if you could please share and spread the word.
