In 2024, I was diagnosed with rectal cancer. Thankfully, the tumor was removed that same year, and for 10 months I was able to celebrate being cancer free. Recently, however, I received the difficult news that the cancer is trying to reappear in my liver. This has been a challenging journey, and I have spent a lot of time in prayer and reflection about the next steps for my health and healing.

Rather than pursue chemotherapy, I am hoping to try alternative therapies that are not covered by my insurance. These treatments offer hope for not only addressing the cancer, but also targeting the genes associated with it. The financial burden of these therapies is significant, and I am reaching out for support to help make this path possible.

I want to start off by thanking my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Without His grace and mercy, I wouldn’t be here today. At first, I struggled with feelings of being punished, but I have come to understand that this is not a punishment—He is growing my faith. As believers and followers of Christ, we are not promised lives without trials and tribulations. I am putting all my faith and trust in Him to provide a way for me to receive these treatments. If He impresses upon your heart to give, no matter how small the amount may be, I am fully honored and blessed for your help.
