Support Tyler Through Loss and a New Chapter of Life
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Emily and I want to ask for help on behalf of my dear friend, Tyler Whittaker, who recently suffered a heartbreaking loss. Her father passed away in a tragic plane accident just over a month ago, leaving an unimaginable void in her young life. As if dealing with this emotional pain as a only child wasn’t enough, she now faces significant financial burdens and the overwhelming challenge of preparing for veterinary school, which she’s set to begin this January.
For those who know Tyler, you know how deeply she cares for animals and how hard she’s worked to get into vet school. I met Tyler during our undergraduate journey (Organic Chem was not as much of a nightmare because we had each other) and we have been dear friends ever since. I’ve watched her overcome things that most people never face and all before she is halfway through her 20s. She’s the most tenacious and resilient young woman I know and watching her experience the loss of her father has been heartbreaking. The dream of attending vet school is one she shared with her Dad and has been years in the making. However, the recent tragedy of his sudden death has placed an enormous mental, emotional, and financial strain on her, making it difficult to cover immediate expenses and plan for the costs of her education.
With your support, we hope to help ease her burden. Donations will go towards covering unexpected expenses that have arisen since her father’s passing while she works to arrange his estate according to his wishes, helping with bills while she’s been out of work to process this loss, and making sure she has what she needs to start vet school on the right foot.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page to help spread the word.
Thank you for showing Tyler that she’s not alone in this challenging time. Your kindness and generosity are deeply appreciated.
