I am Jennifer Lee, the aunt to Alexis Bogle. On October 11th, all was great in her and Tyler Storey’s world as he proposed. Fast forward to 11/20/25, and her fiancé, Tyler Storey, was involved in a tragic car accident with a semi. Tyler survived the crash but has five broken ribs, a severed spleen, and a collapsed lung. He was taken to JPMC initially and then transferred to Nashville.

Once there, he was admitted to ICU. Tyler was taken to surgery last Sunday due to severe pain from the broken ribs. Once in surgery, they found the breaks were too close to the spine, and they were unable to do the surgery. Tyler remains in ICU, and since the surgery, Tyler has not come off the ventilator due to developing pneumonia in both lungs. Tyler has a very long road ahead of him for recovery, and once home, he will have to go to an inpatient rehab to build back his strength. Tyler has been out of work for over a week and will be for quite some time. I am setting up this GoFundMe to help raise funds for him and Alexis to pay bills and also help Alexis go back and forth to Nashville to see him, as she is a first-year teacher and has to return to work tomorrow.
