Tyler Osborn needs your help. In true Tyler fashion, he can’t seem to do anything halfway – even cancer. He has been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer involving an extraordinarily rare form of malignancy—estimated to occur at a rate of only about one in a billion cases.

Tyler has already undergone surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation; with additional treatments and surgeries planned over the coming months. Despite the seriousness and rarity of his diagnosis, there is still hope and the outlook remains encouraging!

With so much pain in the world it’s tough to know where to start, but if it’s in your heart to give, his family, friends, students, and colleagues would greatly appreciate your generosity on behalf of Tyler Osborn. All funds raised will exclusively support Tyler’s medical bills and loss of income.

You might be one of Ty’s oldest friends from small town Nebraska or his treasured time traveling the country with the Crimson Cadets or the Sky Raders Drum & Bugle Corps. Tyler might be familiar from his time as a student at Hastings College, Missouri Western, and University of Central Missouri. Or, possibly, you met him through his work at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art.

You might have called him Mr. Osborn, or maybe Ozzy, if you’re one of Ty’s cherished and loved art and music students from Buchanan County R4, Lee A. Tolbert, or Center Middle and High School where he was Director of the Mighty Marching Yellowjacket Band.

Or, you might recognize him as vocalist for rock bands Tailwagon and Under the Influence who have sustained an amazing 30-year recording and performing career.

Most recently, you may have been in front of his camera while he worked as photographer and artist of Tyler Osborn Studios. His livelihood as a highly regarded Kansas City photographer has now been lost.

You don’t have to know Ty to give but helping him is our goal. As his friends and family, we are so thankful, beyond what words can say, for each supporter’s kindness and generosity. Your gift and support will directly assist with Tyler’s ongoing medical treatment and related living expenses as he continues this fight alongside his partner, Sylvia.
