Support Tyler Dawson in recovery from car accident
Tyler Dawson, a local lad and son of my
good friend, Melissa Hills, was in a very
bad car accident in the early hours of the morning on 07/05/21.
He was airlifted to Cairns Base Hospital where he remained in an induced coma
for 11 days until they were able to slowly ease him off life support.
He has a massively long road ahead of
him as he broke every major bone in his
legs which have been operated on but no advice has been given for the outcome asof yet.
Both Tyler and Melissa were working
long hours in traffic control, which Tyler can no longer do and Melissa has not
been able to work, being by her son’s side every day instead. Tyler was also driving the family car, which has been written
off, leaving the family with one car only. Melissa needs it to get to Cairns every
day whilst Daniel (Dad) has to maintain
his job and do the school runs and home
life.
As a mother of four, and with Tyler
having his own expenses, the loss of bothof their wages will be catastrophic for
this family.
Any donation will be gratefully accepted to make the journey of getting better andhealed for Tyler, that little bit more easy.
With thanks in advance, Kate Bellman.
