Tyler, a devoted husband to Meagan and a proud father to their one-year-old son, Barrett, was recently diagnosed with cancer. Tyler is a remarkable man—an amazing father, a devoted husband, and a loyal friend who has always gone above and beyond for the people in his life. Tyler’s greatest joy is being a dad to Barrett. While this diagnosis brings many challenges, Tyler remains laser-focused on getting healthy so he can continue being the incredible father and husband his family adores. Meagan, his loving wife, is his rock—standing by his side with unwavering strength while juggling the demands of caring for a toddler, managing their household, and working away from home. Their faith and love for one another have been a constant source of strength as they navigate this difficult journey together.

A proud alumnus of The Brook Hill School (Go Guard!) and Washington State University (Go Cougs!), Tyler’s love for football has always been a defining part of his life. On the field, Tyler played with passion, grit, and determination—qualities that now fuel his fight against cancer. The resilience he displayed as an athlete reflects the unwavering spirit with which he is tackling this battle.

While Tyler is currently able to work, the demands of his treatment and numerous doctor appointments will require him to take time away. This journey will place a financial strain on the Baker family, as they face mounting medical expenses, childcare costs, and the loss of income.

The Bakers are a family grounded in faith and resilience, always putting others first and meeting challenges with grace. Though they would never ask for help themselves, those of us who love and care for them know this is a time when they need the support of their community.
