Support Tyler and Mason's Recovery Journey

Tyler is expected to come home soon. He is going to be wearing a mechanical/prosthetic arm/hand because of the nerve damage.

lots of physical therapy ahead of him!

Mason a few days ago stood up on his own on the side of his bed and gave his family hugs! He is making great step forward with his progress, thank you for everything so far.

Please consider that both family’s may need to take time off and still have bills! We appreciate everything you guys have helped out with so far.

August 5th update. The following information is from the family as of two days ago. For Mason: Hi everyone. Just a quick update. Mason remains on life support. He's been sedated since he came around from his comma. He hasn't become alert yet but wakes up combative & panicked. They are excersising his lungs daily by putting the ventilator down to a very low setting every morning. He's doing very well with this. Monday @ 7:30 he is scheduled for a tracheotomy & g-tube. That will alleviate the vent down his throat & help with healing & hopefully help him with the panic/combative feelings. He opens his eyes for seconds at a time then starts chocking & gaging. We are praying for him to follow a command like thumbs up or just open eyes when we talk to him.

Also they are changing the type of sedation this morning so we are hopeful the new sedation med will allow him to wake up. He was diagnosed with pneumonia 2 days ago & has been on antibiotics since. Also, this morning they found 2 clots, one in his right shoulder & one on his left arm. Therefore they have started him in blood thinners to hopefully stop a blood clot to his lungs. This is a balancing act as the blood thinners can cause brain bleeding to start again. We are praying that God helps Mason heal without anymore complications & heals with full mobility

Tyler is doing better, goes in for surgery tomorrow morning at 0800. Doc says hopefully out of the hospital in a few weeks.

Mason, still the same when arrived in hospital. Hooked up to a ventilator. Remains the same. Keep them in your prayers please if you’re religious. If you’re not keep them in your thoughts.

Hi all, my name is Tanner. I’m creating this fundraiser for Tyler and Mason. They were unfortunately involved in a dirtbike accident together. Both kids have suffered major injuries. Mason is on a ventilator with brain bleeding in the ICU.

Tyler has broken bones, head trauma, and is also in the ICU. They are both friends who ride together. Tyler is my neighbor, and Mason is a kid who also rides with us in the local hills. Mason is a good friends cousin as well.

Both kids are great kids all around and great at riding. They are suffering from a very unfortunate accident, and anything would be greatly appreciated for these families who are going through a scary and hard time. Thank you for your time and keep these boys in your thoughts. They have a long road ahead.
