Hello everyone!

Thank you for taking the time to read Tyler and his families story in the hopes of sharing or supporting this fundraiser. Tyler and his fiancee Amanda Scott- who has recently passed away from complications after receiving her double lung transplants, have created two beautiful children together- Connor (10) and Mackenzee (4). With the recent passing of Amanda, Tylers life has taken an drastic turn, with Amanda being the sole caretaker of the children while Tyler worked to provide for the family with one income, it has left Tyler with a deep burden that unfortunately has not subsided even months after her passing. Tyler has reached out to numerous organizations in the hopes of receiving help after this tragedy, but was met with great friction in the process. Tyler lost his job shortly after Amandas passing due to scheduling issues and child care issues. Tyler was placed on wait lists and waited for his saving grace that ultimately never came. As we would all love to come from families who are financially stable and able to provide help during dark times, unfortunately Tyler nor Amanda come from those families. The mayor was able to help with Connors afterschool care during the year of his mothers health decline, and this year the program has agreed to accept Connor for free because he is such a loving and kind boy who deserves to continue to be a part of a space that provides him a sense of connection, and safety. Tyler still faces difficulties with Mackenzee and being able to afford child care in order to attain a job in order to live a life closer to the one he used to know. Tylers current van was gifted to him but currently has over 300K miles, and without working A/C and continues to have mechanical issues. Amanda represented strength, and the ability to persevere against all odds. Amanda never knew she would be taken this soon but when we did talk about what the future would hold, the one thing she wanted was her family to be taken care of. She would tear and choke up at the thought of missing milestones with her babies. Her whole existence was being a mother and partner to Tyler, but no one could ever imagine at 31 years old, that would be cut short. Please stand together in strength, prayer, and love for this family. Help them see the light through this dark tunnel, and help provide a safety net in order for them to properly grieve and restore function in their daily living.
