She passed away from unforeseen complications 4 days after giving birth to their long awaited baby girl, Evelynn. Kelsey was not only a devoted family member but also a kind and compassionate individual who touched the lives of everyone around her. As a skilled nurse, she dedicated her life to helping others, always going above and beyond to ensure her patients received the care they needed.

In a testament to her selflessness, Kelsey chose to be an organ donor, a decision that reflects her generous spirit and desire to make a difference even in her passing. Her gift of life will be passed to many others as her heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, and pancreas have been approved for donation. Now, her husband, Tyler, must navigate the overwhelming journey of single parenthood while caring for their precious newborn daughter and two young sons, Theo and Henry.
