No family is ever prepared to hear the words, "You have cancer." Unfortunately, that's the reality Tyler and Ally are facing today. If you know Tyler and Ally, you know they are the last people who would ever ask for help. That's exactly why I am asking on their behalf. Anyone who knows Tyler knows he's the first person to lend a hand, work hard for his family, and show up whenever someone needs him. Now, it's our turn to show up for him.

A few months ago, Tyler was diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkin lymphoma. Since then, life has become a whirlwind of appointments, procedures, and chemotherapy. The good news is that Tyler has already started treatment and is responding well. He is expected to undergo approximately six months of chemotherapy, and his doctors have recommended he take time away from work so he can focus on healing. While Tyler was approved for short-term disability, it replaces only a portion of his income, leaving a significant financial gap for their family. Like so many families facing cancer, the bills don't stop. Mortgage payments, utilities, groceries, gas for treatments, insurance, and everyday living expenses continue while their household income has been reduced.

Right now, Tyler's full-time job is beating cancer. While he focuses on healing, Ally is doing everything possible to keep life moving forward and as normal as possible for their two daughters. If you're able to give, no matter the amount, it will help ease the financial burden of cancer by covering the Maier family's mortgage, utilities, groceries, transportation to and from treatment, and other everyday living expenses while Tyler undergoes chemotherapy.
