Support Tyler After Tragic Loss of Dad

I’m writing this on behalf of my 24-year-old son.
My son has had an on-and-off-again relationship with his dad while trying to find his place in the world and become a better man. My son keeps to himself and never asks for help. He is the type who will figure it out before he says, 'I’m struggling, help me please!'
Chris was born and raised here in Anaheim, CA before moving up north to care for his parents. Chris's mom passed away a couple of years ago, and his dad went to live with Chris's brother. The family lost everything in a house fire from the Northern CA fires. Chris moved to Temecula to care for his aunt, and she too recently passed away. Chris was always taking care of his relatives and somewhere got lost in all this and passed away as well at the age of 50 years old.
Well, today my son got the call no child should ever receive; that they found his dad deceased in his vehicle. The officer said they have what little belongings Chris had on him and can pick it up.
The officer then followed that with, 'Let us know how we can help you with getting his body.'
My son Tyler was in tears with no words other than 'thank you for the call.' With his permission, I asked if I could share his story to help pay for the funeral costs. My son just wants to have his dad cremated and get the ashes back. He’s not asking for much, but he does need help.
Chris is survived by his only son Tyler, along with his father, brother, and sister-in-law who are in another state along with their kids a nephew and niece.
If you’re unable to contribute, please keep Tyler in your prayers and share this.
