My name is Tyler Killoran, I’m 13 years old from Sheffield, UK, and martial arts isn’t just something I do — it’s part of who I am.

I first stepped into the dojo when I was just 4 years old, and by 9, I was already competing. Since then, I’ve dedicated nearly every day to perfecting my craft — training, traveling, and competing across the UK and internationally.

20x World Champion

In October 2025, I proudly represented Team England at the Unified World Championships in Italy, where I achieved something incredible —

8 Gold Medals in 8 Categories — a clean sweep across every division I entered.

These victories add to my growing record of 20 World Championship titles, across multiple martial arts disciplines, including:

Traditional Karate

Traditional Weapons

Creative and Musical Forms

Creative and Musical Weapons

And that’s not all — in just the past two months alone, I’ve brought home:

6 Gold Medals at the WTKA Championships (Clean Sweep)

6 Gold Medals at the Bristol Open (Clean Sweep)

8 Gold Medals at the World Championships (Clean Sweep)

This incredible run has cemented my place as one of the UK’s most successful young martial artists — but my journey is only just beginning.

I also use my platform for good, having been asked as the only UK athlete to represent 'Karate Kids Kick Cancer' project and raise awareness.

The Next Chapter — Taking on the U.S. Martial Arts Circuit

My next big dream is to compete on the American Martial Arts Circuit — one of the largest and most competitive stages in the world.

It’s an incredible opportunity to challenge myself against the best, learn from world-class athletes, and represent the UK on a global scale.

I’ve already begun training for the 2026 season, and I’m giving it everything I’ve got — but international travel, training, and equipment all come with a cost.
