Support Tyger’s Fight against Metastatic Cancer

It’s hard to find words to start.

Tyger has been having back problems for a few months now, and she went to the doctor to get it looked at. They told her to take some steroids and return if it persisted. During this time, she acquired a dry cough, which is something that she normally gets during the fall. On Monday at work, she coughed up blood. She works in the CF clinic and knew that coughing up blood wasn’t good. She went and got tests done and was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday when they discovered spots on her lungs and her spine was fractured from a tumor. During this time, she has gone through a multitude of tests. The prognosis that was discovered is Breast, Lung, Brain, and Spinal Metastatic cancer. It is all over her body. The doctors said she is young, in overall good health, and has a reason to fight, so they are going to be aggressive with their treatment.

She has spent her entire career caring for little kids from the Pediatric floor, to the Pediatric intensive Care Unit, and now helping Cystic Fibrosis patients prolong life. It’s time the help is given to her and prolong her life.

She has two little boys, 6 and 3, and a husband that is struggling to work through the normal day-to-day activities. All she has ever wanted to be was a mom and a wife. Three and six years with your children, and 14 years with your forever love is not enough; fighting this is all we can do.

Everything progressed so quickly. With the holidays around the corner and both Tyger and Sam not working, they are in need of help financially. They will have a great deal of hospital bills and day-to-day life bills to pay.
