Ty Laughery is a 16-year-old junior from Winfield, WV. Ty is actively involved in school activities and plays football, basketball, and baseball. Ty has always been full of energy and hope for the future. Recently, Ty and the Laughery family received the difficult news that Ty has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. This diagnosis has turned their world upside down, bringing not only emotional challenges but also significant financial burdens. As a close friend, I have seen firsthand the strength and resilience Ty and the family have shown, but I know that the road ahead will require even more support from the community.

The costs associated with treatment are overwhelming. The Laughery family is facing mounting medical bills, travel expenses for appointments and treatments, as well as the everyday costs of food, gas, and living expenses. These financial pressures make it even harder for Ty’s parents to be present and supportive during this critical time. By coming together to help, we can ease some of this burden and allow Ty’s family to focus on what matters most: Ty’s health and recovery.
