Update 18/3/2026: Against all odds, we’re 5 months away from graduation. Help us cross the finish line and secure our final semester.

We’re Braah Alrashid and Hibatallah Suleiman, now officially sixth-year (final year!) medical students at Ahfad University for Women, Sudan, currently continuing our studies at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology, Alamein, Egypt due to the ongoing war.

Last year, with your incredible generosity, we were able to pay our 5th-year tuition and secure housing and basic living needs. Because of your support, not only did we make it through the year, we excelled!

Despite studying through displacement, uncertainty, and a war back home, we worked harder than ever and proudly finished the 5th year with straight A’s.

We are deeply grateful. Your help didn’t just keep us in school; it helped us thrive.

But as the war in Sudan enters its third year, our situation remains unstable and financially overwhelming. We are still away from home, still displaced, and still pushing forward against every challenge. Yet we refuse to give up on the dream we’ve carried since childhood.

Your support will go entirely toward:

• 6th year tuition fees

• Accommodation in Alamein until October 2026

• Daily living expenses

• Medical books, educational tools, and graduation requirements

We’ve lost so much because of the war, our homes, our stability, and our sense of normalcy. But we’re holding onto the one thing we still have: our purpose.

With your help, we can finally graduate, become the doctors we’ve worked so hard to be, and someday give back to others the same way the world has given to us.

No amount is too small, and every share truly makes a difference.
