We are a two person group out of Vernon CT who are desperately trying to finish our first 9 song EP! We’ve been learning the basics of recording, mixing, mastering, and creating over the last 4 years to attempt to bring real music back into the world. Music from a time where it resonated with people who needed to hear it. We believe in quality ideas instead of pumping out loads of mediocre material, and for that we need your help!

Both members of this group work full time jobs, have real bills to pay in an unforgiving enconomy right now. Because of that, finding the last bit of funds to complete this record has become more than a challenge, keeping roofs over our heads.

Our final goal will push us to finish line, and with this final push of $500, we could finally buy Studio One and our drum software that we are in desperate need of. Currently all the songs are recorded, however its using DJ software that is not meant for this kind of music to be completed.

Opaque isn’t just a dual-group of two ambitious songwriters. We are two people dying to bring this project to life and really make a difference! Our music may seem dark on the surface, but its filled with messages of hope and faith. It brings the light out of the darkness and real issues towards the light! Many of our influences include bands like Deftones, Disturbed, Godsmack, Silent Vice, Katatonia, Chevelle, with some Mudvayne thrown in at times. We’ll make your head bang while writing about real things that people experience!

This is a passion project of ours that we absolutely must bring to life, and anything that we can scrape us to get us to the finish line is so deeply appreciated and we will thank all the donors in the credits of the record! Any large donations will be mentioned by name!
