Support Two People Rebuild After Devastating Apartment Fire
Donation protected
Early this week, a devastating fire at Jersey Avenue and Kingsway left about 100 people homeless. While the two people we are fundraising for thankfully escaped without major injuries, they are now facing an overwhelming situation with the loss of their homes and belongings.
We are raising funds to help them get back on their feet during this incredibly challenging time. Your support will go directly toward covering their immediate and long-term recovery needs:
Immediate Needs:
Clothing, food, and personal items: $500–$1,000 per person
Temporary housing: $50–$150 per day per person (1–2 months)
Toiletries and household essentials: $100–$300 per person
Long-term Recovery:
Replacing furniture and electronics: $2,000–$5,000 per apartment
Rent and deposit for a new home: $1,500–$3,000 per apartment
Other Costs:
Work lost due to displacement
Potential medical expenses
Insurance deductibles
Every donation, no matter the size, helps them rebuild their lives and find stability. Thank you for coming together to support these two in their time of need.
