Huntersville neighboring families need help after a fire damaged two homes and affected both households. Both homes have extreme fire damage and water damage, and both families have been extremely affected. One home is a married couple, with the wife expecting, and their two dogs. The other home is a married couple, their two boys, and their dog. Thankfully, everyone is safe.

They had to leave home quickly with only the clothes on their backs. Since then, they have been staying with family and in an Airbnb while dealing with the loss of most of their belongings. Nearly everything in the homes was damaged by water or left with smoke smell, turning their lives upside down in an instant.

Right now, donations will help cover the families' most urgent day-to-day needs, especially food and living costs while they are displaced. Support can help ease some of the immediate pressure as they work through what comes next.
