Join me in raising funds to support Rocko and Nala, two elderly, obese cats (around 18 years old) who recently lost everything—their home, their people, and their sense of safety.

Thankfully, a compassionate human has stepped in to foster them. Now we’re coming together to make sure she—and these two gentle souls—have the support they need.

Their Heartbreaking Backstory

Rocko (male) and Nala (female, who also has cataracts and is likely blind) lived a quiet life with two elderly brothers who loved them dearly. But in March, one of the brothers passed away, and the surviving brother—grieving and in declining health—was left to care for the pets and their aging home on his own.

Eventually, he had no choice but to give up the animals. He is now being relocated to Florida, where his family can care for him. He's devastated—he’s lost his brother, his home, and his beloved companions all at once.

The family’s young doodle dog quickly found a foster and has multiple adoption applications. But senior cats like Rocko and Nala are much harder to place.

A Second Chance

Enter one extraordinary person, who opened their heart and home to Rocko and Nala. They had no supplies, no medical history, and limited resources—but they said yes anyway.

Now we want to give them all the support they need to make Nala and Rocko as comfortable as possible.
